The role focuses on distributed storage and database internals, platform engineering, performance optimization, observability, infrastructure automation, and database operational workflows at scale, with close collaboration across DBA, SRE, application engineering, architecture, and platform teams. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant computing field and at least three years of related experience are required; experience with Kubernetes, cloud storage, open-source data systems, and disaster recovery architectures is preferred.
