AWS is hiring a Cloud Solutions Architect to design and architect scalable cloud solutions for complex financial services and insurance customers. The role assesses customer workloads, makes technical trade-offs, builds trusted advisor relationships with senior leaders, communicates complex technical concepts, leads architecture discussions, and translates customer feedback into requirements for product and engineering teams. It requires extensive technology, application and infrastructure, and software or Internet industry experience, with preferred experience in executive communication, presentations, community work, and cloud migration. The position is based in Boston, Massachusetts, or New York, New York, with annual base salaries of $153,600–$207,800 or $169,000–$228,600 respectively.
