Description
The Cloud SQL Software Engineer develops product and system code, participates in technology design reviews, reviews and improves other developers’ code, contributes documentation, and troubleshoots and resolves product or system issues. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, two years of software development experience, and two years of experience with database infrastructure, database internals, or distributed database systems. Preferred qualifications include database performance and SQL expertise, Cloud API integration, workflow-system design, observability, and large-scale managed services experience. Compensation is $147,000–$210,000 USD plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
