eShepherd is hiring a full-time Cloud and Platform Engineer in Kansas City to join its R&D team and support the virtual-fencing platform’s cloud infrastructure, data systems, reliability, capacity, and deployment automation. The role focuses on AWS infrastructure, MySQL databases, query performance, caching, regional topology, failover, monitoring, incident response, capacity planning, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and Python or Node.js tooling, while serving as the North American engineering presence for teams in Melbourne and Hamilton.
