Description
The employer is hiring a Machine Shop Operator for a 2nd-shift position running Monday through Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. The role involves studying work orders and blueprints, setting up tools and fixtures, programming mills and lathes, loading stock, verifying parts, troubleshooting machining processes, maintaining quality and production records, and maintaining a safe work area. Manufacturing and relevant machining experience are preferred, while lifting, prolonged standing, extreme temperatures, machinery operation, measurement, hand-tool use, and PPE compliance are required. The starting wage is $28.24, with a qualified wage of $28.78, and health insurance is available after 60 days.
