Description
The Medical Assistant performs clinical and administrative duties supporting first responders and other essential workers through the Save My Life Program. Responsibilities include preparing examination rooms and equipment, taking vital signs and medical histories, explaining procedures and medications, conducting patient tests, collecting and preparing laboratory specimens, greeting patients, maintaining inventory, using an EMR system, and maintaining confidential electronic health records. The role requires active CCMA and BLS certifications, strong organizational and communication skills, and a five-day Monday-through-Saturday schedule from 07:30 to 3:30.
