Description
The Certified Medication Aide, PRN provides routine daily nursing care and medication administration for residents receiving long-term or rehabilitative support under the guidance of a supervising nurse. Responsibilities include monitoring residents for medication side effects, documenting care, maintaining medication supplies, supporting personal care and housekeeping, responding to resident call lights, reviewing care plans, and reporting resident condition changes. The role requires completion of a Certified Medication Aide program, state-required continuing education, English proficiency, and at least 12 hours of annual in-service education; a high school diploma or equivalent and prior CNA experience are preferred.
