Description
Valar Atomics is hiring a CMM Operator to run coordinate measuring machine programs using MCOSMOS with Renishaw Revo 5-axis scanning heads to inspect precision components for modular nuclear reactor systems. The role involves loading and fixturing parts, executing inspection programs, reviewing measurement output, troubleshooting alignment and fixturing issues, supporting calibration and equipment upkeep, interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T, maintaining inspection documentation, and supporting first-article inspections. The position requires 1–3 years of CMM or precision inspection experience, familiarity with engineering drawings and GD&T, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; preferred qualifications include MCOSMOS or similar software experience, Renishaw Revo exposure, and experience in regulated quality environments.
