Description
Applied Materials is hiring a full-time CMP Technical Expert to serve as a technical subject matter expert for Chemical Mechanical Planarization in wafer fabrication. The role involves analyzing and troubleshooting CMP, yield, and integration problems; leading customer discussions and continuous improvement projects; optimizing process and output KPIs; demonstrating and adopting FabVantage technologies; resolving complex tool issues; and mentoring junior MPEs. The position requires a BS in Engineering, at least 10 years of CMP experience, wafer fab and equipment experience, and knowledge of four or more processes across two or more technologies. It is available in Boise, Idaho; Dallas, Texas; Hillsboro, Oregon; Phoenix, Arizona; and Santa Clara, California, with 20% travel and relocation eligibility.
