Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant participates in basic nursing care for patients from admission through discharge and performs non-nursing duties such as keeping rooms clean and stocked, clerical work, answering phones, and relaying messages. The role is responsible to nurses, the Charge Nurse, and the manager. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1–5 years of recent related experience, and either a Certified Nursing Assistant certification from Georgia or a Medical Assistant certification, with BLS certification obtained within 60 days of hire.
