Description
The 5-Axis CNC Grinder operates and maintains 5-axis CNC grinding machines for production and prototype medical components, including stainless-steel orthopedic tools. The role supports engineering and quality, develops and documents work instructions, performs first-article and in-process inspection, troubleshoots machine and process issues, mentors junior machinists, and contributes to operational excellence and Lean initiatives. It requires 3–5 years of 5-axis CNC grinding experience, a two-year machining or technical degree or equivalent experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, advanced math and blueprint-reading skills, and experience with an ERP system.
