The CNC Lathe Setup Technician sets up, adjusts, programs, and inspects CNC lathes for precision-part production. The role includes tooling and fixture installation, program verification, blueprint interpretation, quality measurement, setup documentation, basic machine maintenance, safety compliance, and collaboration with programmers, engineers, and operators. It is performed in a machine-shop environment with physical demands and requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of CNC lathe experience.
