Description
The CNC Machine Operator will set up, program, operate, inspect, and maintain CNC machines and related manual machining equipment. Responsibilities include loading and securing materials, interpreting blueprints and work instructions, performing milling, turning, drilling, and other machining operations, using precision measuring instruments, troubleshooting machine and tooling issues, and maintaining cutting tools. The role requires a high school diploma, two years of CNC machine operation and programming experience, manufacturing or metalworking knowledge, blueprint interpretation skills, G-code and CNC programming basics, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
