Description
The CNC Machine Operator I is a trainee/apprentice-level position responsible for producing machined parts by operating CNC lathes and milling machines under close supervision. Duties include loading and unloading materials, inspecting and measuring finished products, comparing work to drawing specifications, performing secondary operations such as deburring, maintaining equipment and supplies, keeping work areas organized, and following safety procedures. The role prefers a high school diploma or equivalent and machine-shop experience, requires basic English, math, trigonometry, teamwork, and measuring-tool proficiency, and requires occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds.
