Description
The CNC Machinist operates and sets up CNC lathes and milling machines, performs first-article inspections, loads and deburs parts, reads blueprints and job orders, adjusts machine controls, proves out and edits NC programs, and maintains quality and safety standards. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to pass a drug screen and background check, and at least two years of CNC mill or lathe experience; knowledge of G and M codes is required, while manufacturing, blueprint-reading, measurement-tool, and computer experience are preferred.
