Description
RTCA is hiring a full-time, onsite Machinist I-III for its Rockford, Michigan location on a weekend shift from Friday through Sunday, 5:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a $3 per hour shift differential. The role involves operating and setting up CNC and manual machines, reading blueprints and engineering drawings, using precision measuring instruments, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams. Required qualifications include CNC or manual machining experience, blueprint and GD&T interpretation, precision-measuring-instrument experience, machining fundamentals, mechanical aptitude, safety commitment, and basic troubleshooting and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include aerospace or defense manufacturing experience, multi-axis machining, CNC control familiarity, CAM software, AS9100 knowledge, lean manufacturing, CNC programming, tooling troubleshooting, mentoring, and ERP/MRP familiarity.
