Description
The CNC Machinist operates CNC machinery to produce metallic parts to customer specifications. Responsibilities include pre-operation inspections, reading production schedules, measuring and marking workpieces, setting up fixtures and tools, programming and adjusting machine controls, monitoring machining, verifying finished parts, resolving machining issues with the supervisor, and maintaining production and safety records. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of related experience or training, U.S. person status, and legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is unavailable. Preferred qualifications include manufacturing or industrial experience, close-tolerance work, and blueprint-reading skills. The salary range is $22 to $28 per hour.
