Description
The CNC Operator 3 is an advanced-level machinist who leads complex machining operations, programs and modifies CNC machines, sets up complex parts, troubleshoots machining and tooling issues, ensures product quality, and trains and mentors Operator 1 and Operator 2 CNC team members. The role also supports production optimization, new-product development, workflow coordination, and safety in a manufacturing environment. It requires a high school diploma or GED, technical training or advanced CNC experience, CNC programming and machining experience, strong troubleshooting and process-improvement skills, and the ability to work extended hours during peak periods.
