Description
Chromalloy Carson City is hiring a CNC Operator for its Blade Manufacturing team to set up, program, and operate CNC and conventional machines used to manufacture critical aerospace components. The role includes loading and editing machine programs, setting up tooling and fixtures, producing parts to engineering specifications, inspecting and measuring parts, performing minor modifications and finishing work, following production and quality requirements, using computerized production tracking systems, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. The position is primarily a third shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 PM on Monday through Friday, with schedule flexibility and possible weekend work, and offers a $2-$4 per hour shift differential and a $1,000 sign-on bonus. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while two or more years of CNC machining or machine operation experience is preferred.
