Description
The CNC Machine Operator loads and operates computer numerical control machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts. The role includes interpreting blueprints and specifications, measuring workpieces, monitoring and adjusting machine operations, verifying finished parts, resolving machining problems, performing basic machine maintenance, labeling and counting parts, and transporting finished parts. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, one to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with basic computer, mathematical, communication, and reasoning skills. The stated salary is $18-$24.
