Description
The CNC Machine Operator safely and efficiently operates CNC machining centers to manufacture parts according to engineering specifications. Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, setting up and adjusting cutting tools, running authorized CNC programs, verifying part dimensions with measuring instruments, recording production and reject data, detecting process deviations, changing worn tools, making minor offset adjustments, maintaining a clean work area, and assisting with basic equipment maintenance. The role requires blueprint interpretation, use of measuring instruments, knowledge of dimensional and geometric tolerances, and preferably basic G and M code knowledge.
