Description
The CNC Laser Operator sets up, operates, and monitors fiber, CO2, or similar laser cutting machines; reads blueprints and work orders; loads and unloads materials; adjusts cutting parameters; performs quality checks and basic troubleshooting; maintains production records; and supports fabrication, assembly, testing, and shop cleanliness. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3+ years of laser-cutting equipment experience, technical-drawing and measurement skills, and the ability to work extended shifts in a manufacturing environment.
