Description
The CNC Machinist programs, sets up, and operates computer numerical control mills and lathes to produce machined parts. The role interprets blueprints and geometric tolerances, manages stock and production orders, programs tool offsets and machine parameters, verifies part quality, documents production and quality logs, and maintains equipment and safety standards. The position requires high school education or equivalent experience or training, basic reading and writing ability, and the ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds in a moderately loud environment near moving mechanical parts.
