Description
The Process Engineer develops and improves manufacturing processes, CNC programs, tooling, and production methods for machine-shop environments. The role analyzes product specifications, troubleshoots process problems, estimates production costs and staffing, coordinates prototypes and vendor activities, supports customer and management decisions, and maintains documentation, quality, metrology, SPC, and process-capability procedures. A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering is preferred, while an associate degree in Manufacturing Technology plus either five years of process-engineering experience in a machine shop or ten years of process-engineering or programming experience is required.
