Description
The CNC Programmer creates and optimizes CNC programs using Solid CAM / Works, analyzes technical drawings, selects tools and machining strategies, simulates and tests programs, troubleshoots production errors, documents programs and tool plans, and collaborates with production supervisors and machine operators while meeting quality and safety standards. The role requires analytical and organizational skills, CAD/CAM software expertise, spatial visualization, materials science and manufacturing knowledge, and experience with Heidenhain CNC controls.
