Description
The CNC Programmer creates computer numerically controlled programs to automate machining tools, selects tooling and tool paths, checks programs with Vericut, prepares tooling and setup sheets, troubleshoots tool and program issues, and improves existing programs and setup times. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CNC mill multi-axis programming experience, CAD/CAM and NX experience, knowledge of CNC machining and GD&T, and familiarity with aerospace manufacturing and manufacturing outsourcing processes. The position may require travel between Southwick and Westfield facilities and involves exposure to production hazards, noise, fumes, and physical work.
