The CNC Programmer/Machinist creates and modifies CNC programs for 4–8 axis machines, interprets drawings and blueprints, selects tooling and workholding, sets machine controls, performs first-piece and in-process quality checks, maintains equipment, and mentors other CNC personnel. The role is described as potentially lead-level and requires SolidWorks, CAM, CNC programming, machining, quality-control, and computer skills. The stated pay is $34.00–$38.00 per hour.
