Description
The employer is hiring a CNC Setter to set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines in a high-volume precision engineering production environment. Responsibilities include preparing tooling and fixtures, changing tools and offsets, reading technical drawings and basic G-code, monitoring production, performing dimensional and quality checks, troubleshooting setup issues, and supporting continuous improvement. The role requires matric, production CNC-setting experience, and familiarity with turning and milling machines; Fanuc controls, CNC program editing, and experience with Doosan, Puma, or Haas machines are advantageous. Day and night shifts are available, with an hourly rate of R90.00 and a night-shift allowance.
