The role leads the architectural design and lifecycle management of CNO capabilities, owns technical roadmaps, oversees defensive engineering and detection mechanics, mentors junior staff, and collaborates with mission analysts and vulnerability researchers. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, at least five years of cyber software engineering or specialized technical experience, two years of technical leadership experience, and programming experience in C, C++, Go, Java, or Python. An active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph eligibility are required, and the projected compensation range is $114,600 to $190,200.
