Description

Joliet Junior College is hiring a full-time, non-exempt Coach for the Multicultural & Undocumented Pathway within the Multicultural & Undocumented Resources department to provide academic coaching, advocacy, referrals, outreach, and coordination of student success supports for underrepresented, multicultural, undocumented, and English Language Learner students. The role involves developing individualized student success plans, assisting with registration and financial aid, maintaining databases and reports, supporting cultural programming and recruitment events, and collaborating across campus and community partners. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, two years of experience with diverse populations, strong interpersonal and computer skills, knowledge of immigration-related regulations, and a valid driver’s license; a master’s degree, community college experience, student-success CRM familiarity, Spanish proficiency, and multicultural competence are preferred.
