Description
The Optical Inspection Technician loads and unloads optical parts, cleans and inspects them under a microscope, checks surface quality against customer drawings and ANSI, Mil, or ISO standards, prepares substrates for thin-film coating, performs reflectivity testing, and enters data into an MRP system. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of material-inspection experience, microscope and small-parts-handling ability, cleanroom and chemical-exposure readiness, and basic data-entry skills.
