Description
Chromalloy is hiring a Chemical Process Operator to perform thermal coating processes for pack aluminide coatings on gas turbine engine components. The role includes A12 retort packing and furnace loading, spray coating, abrasive blasting, surface preparation, quality inspection, documentation, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance. It is an overnight rotating 12-hour shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a three-nights-on, three-nights-off, one-night-on, one-night-off pattern and a $3.00 per hour shift differential. A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required, along with English communication, blueprint interpretation, shop math, attention to detail, equipment-operation, teamwork, and safety skills; manufacturing, coatings, thermal processing, aerospace, and NADCAP experience are preferred.
