Description
Excelitas is hiring a Coating Technician to apply specialized coatings to precision optics in a manufacturing environment. The role includes cleaning and inspecting substrates, performing spin cleaning, preparing and packaging optical components, setting up tooling, loading parts into coating chambers, handling chemicals, following process sheets, and supporting safety, FOD control, incoming inspection, and 6S practices. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, attention to detail, manual dexterity, willingness to learn, and the ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods. Previous process manufacturing experience is desired but not required. The position pays $20.00–$26.00 hourly and provides medical, dental, and vision coverage from day one.
