Description
Coherent Corp. is seeking a Thin Film Coating Operator to run and monitor optical thin-film coating chambers and characterization equipment on a rotating schedule of one week on the 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. shift followed by one week on the 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. shift, Monday through Friday. The role includes preparing evaporation materials and coating chambers, programming designs, controlling process parameters, determining layer endpoints, analyzing and documenting production data, maintaining inventory and equipment, supporting quality meetings and training, and following EHS, clean-room, and quality-system requirements. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; manufacturing experience is preferred, along with attention to detail, multitasking, communication, teamwork, and the ability to work with hazardous chemicals and wear a respirator.
