Description
The Coax Splicer installs, splices, activates, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains aerial and underground coaxial cable networks supporting broadband, video, and voice services. The role includes working with hardline coax, connectors, splitters, taps, amplifiers, network documentation, signal testing equipment, splice closures, and preventative maintenance, while following safety procedures and collaborating with construction, technician, and network operations teams. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while two or more years of coax splicing or telecommunications field experience is preferred.
