Description
DPP is seeking a COBOL Developer for an 11-month W2 contract supporting mission-critical healthcare claims processing applications. The role involves analyzing requirements, designing and implementing solutions, modifying COBOL programs, JCL, DB2, and CICS, and participating in a rotating on-call schedule. The position is hybrid in Columbia, South Carolina, with onsite work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and as needed, and may require occasional overtime, evening, or weekend work. Applicants need a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS experience; IMS, IBM MQ, and modern development tools are preferred.
