Description
The COBOL Developer will maintain and enhance enterprise mainframe applications, develop new functionality, analyze requirements, troubleshoot production issues, and support modernization and performance initiatives. The role requires strong COBOL programming experience, familiarity with JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, and batch processing, and knowledge of software development life cycle and production support. Banking, insurance, healthcare, or financial services experience, Agile, DevOps, and mainframe modernization exposure are preferred.
