Description
The role designs, develops, tests, debugs, and documents mainframe application systems and procedures; responds to system failures; supports project or technical-lead responsibilities; and provides guidance to less-experienced analysts or programmers. It requires a bachelor’s degree in business or computer science or equivalent experience, at least one year of information technology experience, three years of systems and programming experience, batch-processing experience with Facets, AIX and SQL experience, and expert knowledge of at least one programming language, including COBOL. The position also requires mainframe knowledge, analysis, design, coding, project leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
