Description

The Code Enforcement Officer serves as the first point of contact for identifying and addressing code violations under the supervision of a Code Enforcement Supervisor. The role enforces the Santa Fe County Sustainable Land Development Code, cites violations, conducts site and property inspections, reviews permits and development plans, prepares court reports and presentations, represents the County in hearings, responds to public complaints, and maintains case files. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, three years of relevant experience, a valid New Mexico Class D driver’s license, and successful pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol, and criminal background screenings.
