Public Agency Resources (PARS), a subsidiary of Willdan Group Inc., is hiring a part-time Code Enforcement Officer in Monterey, California. The role works during evening and weekend hours to monitor vendor-related activities, ensure vendors obtain required permits and comply with municipal codes, health and safety regulations, and operating requirements, and to educate vendors about voluntary compliance. The officer will document violations, issue notices or citations as authorized, maintain case records, and coordinate with City departments and partner agencies. The position seeks retired or former law-enforcement professionals and requires certification as a Code Enforcement Officer, current or prior law enforcement, PC 832 certification, strong oral and written communication skills, and bilingual Spanish.
