The City of Portland’s Bureau of Environmental Services is hiring a full-time Code, Rule and Standards Analyst to update and improve stormwater, sewer, environmental, development, and technical design regulations. The role collaborates with engineering, operations, permitting, development, community, elected officials, and other agencies to review policies, draft revised code and rule language, manage approvals, and ensure standards align with environmental goals and practical implementation. The position is based in Portland, Oregon, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and requires an associate’s degree in a related field plus four years of professional experience in analytical, regulatory, or related public-agency work.
