Description
The Medical Coder collects, reviews, retrieves, and codes evaluation-and-management services, surgical procedures, anesthesia reports, radiology reports, and other medical services. The role audits charts for accuracy and compliance, assigns ICD-10, CPT-4, and HCPCS codes, processes invoice corrections, analyzes coding and billing procedures, and provides training and feedback to physicians and providers.
