Description
The IP DRG Coding Specialist transforms medical diagnoses and procedures into ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes, reviews patient records, assigns DRGs, collaborates with clinical staff, and meets coding volume and quality targets. The role requires at least one year of IP DRG coding experience, CIC, CCS, and CPC certifications, a graduate degree, and strong communication and analytical skills. Proficiency with MS Office, coding software, and EMR systems is preferred.
