The HB Coding Analyst is responsible for assigning ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes to outpatient visits and physician encounters, reviewing medical records, interpreting clinical documentation, resolving NCCI, NCD/LCD, and other outpatient edit claim failures, and meeting coding productivity and quality standards. The role requires RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, COC, or CPC certification, AHIMA or AAPC membership, and three years of acute-care experience.
