Description
The HB Coding Analyst is a part-time, 20-hour-per-week coding and reimbursement expert responsible for assigning ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes to outpatient visits and physician encounters, reviewing medical records, resolving NCCI, NCD/LCD, and other outpatient edit claim failures, and meeting coding productivity and quality standards. The role requires at least three years of acute-care experience and RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, COC, or CPC certification, along with AHIMA or AAPC membership.
