Description
The Hospital Billing Specialist performs third-party insurance billing, medical record audits, coding compliance reviews, reporting, and coordination with patients, payers, providers, and billing staff. The role requires CPC-A, CPC, or CPC-H certification, extensive knowledge of RBRVS and payer regulations, EMR proficiency, strong communication and medical terminology skills, and Microsoft Office competency. An associate degree and 3–5 years of healthcare experience are preferred, and the schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The pay range is $20.00–$25.00 per hour, with starting pay based on experience.
