Description
The Corp Coding Audit Coord reviews hospital documentation and coding for inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory surgery, and emergency department services; conducts compliance, charge-based, and complex coding quality audits; analyzes coding variations; prepares improvement reports; supports investigations; and collaborates with coding managers, educators, compliance officers, and internal audit staff. The role requires five years of inpatient and outpatient coding experience, a bachelor's degree with RHIA and CCS or an associate's degree with RHIT and CCS, and CCS certification.
