Description
The role conducts coding audits to optimize diagnosis-related groupings, develops and delivers coding instruction, prepares coding guidelines, and implements coding changes. It requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience, a current CPC or CCS credential, and 1–3 years of relevant experience; experience with edits and denials is preferred. The position operates under general guidance and requires independent interpretation and decision-making.
