Description
UT Southwestern is hiring a Coding/CDI Denials Analyst to review inpatient hospital coding denials, verify that assigned codes and DRGs are supported by clinical evidence and provider documentation, compose appeals, identify denial trends and root causes, communicate DRG and financial impacts, and recommend coding and clinical documentation improvements. The role requires 3–5 years of acute hospital-based coding or CDI experience, denials and appeals experience, remote-work experience, and an applicable health information administration, health information technology, coding, clinical documentation, or documentation improvement certification.
