Description
The Outpatient Education Coordinator/Auditor will train and audit inpatient and outpatient coding staff, develop education plans, track coding updates and CMS requirements, resolve APC edits, support billing and denial resolution, and serve as a coding resource. The role is based at the Methodist Corporate Office in Omaha, Nebraska, with a Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. schedule, and requires an associate degree in Health Information Management or a related field, at least five years of acute-care inpatient or hospital outpatient/professional services coding experience, and specified RHIT/RHIA, CCS/CPC/COC, and CPMA/CICA credentials.
